Lots of exciting new this week in geek, most notably being the release of Guardians of The Galaxy. Fans got to see Josh Brolin get some screen time as Thanos (and he looked badass). But there were some other juicy tidbits too!
- We finally got to see a trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. Peter Jackson has also considered using some footage from Lord of The Rings that didn’t make the theatrical or extended versions.
- I really want to play The Last of Us: Remastered. I just can’t justify $400 bones to do so at the moment. Regardless, it looks fantastic.
- Star Wars: Episode VII has been delayed by 3 weeks due to Harrison Ford breaking his leg. Previous reports said a broken ankle. Get well Harrison!
- Fox realizes they need something to compete with the financial success of Guardians of The Galaxy. Hilarious and sadly true!
- Chris Pratt (Starlord from Guardians of The Galaxy) is a pretty funny guy. Check out what he did on-set of Parks and Recreation!
- This is pretty amazing. There’s a cave in China so big, it has its own weather system! Insane!
- Do WANT. Darth Vader custom grill!
- Plague, Inc. on PC has an update with the Simian Flu from the Rise of the Planet of the Apes films. AWESOME!
- An awesome recreation of Alex Ross’ Tango With Evil. You can buy prints here.
- My parents sent me this photo from their beach trip in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Funny AND true!
