I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard at a gaming spoof since the awesome series. But here it is, folks, “Destiny, Bro!”

A week of hilarity. Not much has been going on in the world of geek that I can really comment on. While the rest of the world oogles over Bungie’s latest opus, Destiny, I’m busy having a torrid love affair with Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall. Oh my God is this game fun! And it’s free to play at any time for the first 48 hours for PC! Did I add it’s also been half off for the past week on PC!? What are you doing!? Buy this game!
I’m excited to see what Respawn does with the sequel. I hope we don’t see a deluge of attachments and Titans because there’s a certain cleanliness and order to the simplicity and load-outs of Titanfall. If you haven’t played the game, you’re really doing yourself a disservice. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever played. The parkour movement, coupled with the ability to pilot a GIANT ROBOT is unlike anything I’ve ever played before. AI bots pepper the battlefield, with 12 human players total. The game is like a first-person MOBA more than anything… and it works. Why do you think Gearbox is doing something similar with Battleborn? Because it’s fun. Cliffy B was right when he said shooters will take on RPG elements. He was dead on with that. And you know what? It’s fucking awesome. BRING IT ON!
Moving on, let’s mention the highlights from our Facebook page. Which you should totally “like” by the way.
